Schools and FE Colleges can book JCQ-compliant access arrangements assessments for students undertaking GCSE and A-Level exams.

To ensure compliance with JCQ AARA regulations (Section 7.6.1), Part 1 of Form 8 must be fully completed prior to the assessment date. Please note that "skeleton" forms are no longer accepted under current guidelines. Before I assess the student, the SENCo must detail:

• The candidate’s current classroom difficulties.

• Performance in internal tests and mock examinations.

• The student's normal way of working.

All statements within Part 1 must be thoroughly addressed before the assessment can take place.
